# What happens if I cancel?

Canceling your subscription will result in the deletion of your chat history, media generations, and saved prompts, and you lose any special lifetime discount rate.

* Once you cancel, you cannot recover previous data or media.
* If you rejoin in the future, you pay the then-current regular pricing.

**Troubleshooting & Tips**

* Consider downloading or saving any valuable media before canceling.
* If you have special promotional pricing, keep in mind you lose that discount upon cancellation.
