# How can I set default AI model on page load so it remembers what AI model I used?

You can configure a default AI model in [General settings](https://magica.com/app/chat?settings=general), ensuring the same model loads each time you visit.

* In **General settings**, choose your preferred AI model.
* Changes persist across sessions once you save.
